This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use tribro.cc, the Tribro mobile app, our forms and resources, or contact us through our communication channels.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for tribro.cc and the Tribro mobile app is Bogdan Nadolu.
- Brand: Tribro
- Privacy contact: tech.tribro@gmail.com
- Website: tribro.cc
2. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to people who:
- visit tribro.cc or use the Tribro mobile app;
- submit a form available on the website;
- contact us by email or through social media;
- take part in Tribro communities or activities;
- use Tribro resources, checklists or calculators.
3. Data processed through the website
3.1. Information you provide
If you submit a form or contact us, we may process the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, message, and information about a merchandise enquiry or order. A training-plan request may also involve your age, sex, weight, height, sports experience, goals, availability, equipment and training preferences. We may process other information you choose to share.
The training-plan request form is intended for people aged 18 or over and does not ask for diagnoses, injuries or other medical conditions. Please do not include sensitive information in free-text fields unless it is necessary for your request.
3.2. Technical and security information
Hosting and technical providers may process information needed to operate and secure the website, such as your IP address, device and browser type, date and time of a request, server request details, error logs and information used to prevent abuse.
This operational information is separate from website analytics. Google Analytics is not configured on tribro.cc, and the website currently sends no usage data to Google Analytics.
3.3. Information stored locally in your browser
Some Tribro features use your browser's local storage to keep information on your device. For example, Race Day Checklist may store checked or custom items locally. The website also stores your Analytics consent choice locally so it can remember your preference.
These local records remain in your browser and can be removed by clearing this website's data in your browser or resetting the relevant feature.
4. Google Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics is not configured on tribro.cc. At present, this website does not send usage data to Google Analytics and does not load a Google Analytics tag or measurement ID.
The consent banner records whether you accept or reject Analytics. That choice is stored in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days. The banner itself does not load Google Analytics or send data to Google.
If Google Analytics is configured on tribro.cc in the future, it should be enabled only after you choose “Accept”. If you choose “Reject”, Analytics should remain disabled. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
If enabled in the future, Google Analytics may process device and browser details, pages visited, interactions, visit duration and general traffic source to produce usage statistics. It may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, depending on its configuration. Tribro.cc does not currently set these Analytics cookies.
5. Data processed in the Tribro mobile app
5.1. Accounts and sign-in
The current version of the Tribro app does not require an account or sign-in.
5.2. Race Day Checklist
Items checked in Race Day Checklist are stored locally on your device. In the current version, checklist state is not sent to Tribro servers and is not linked to an account or identity.
5.3. Nutrition and homemade-gel calculators
Values entered into the carbohydrate, fluid, sodium, distribution and homemade-recipe calculators are used to perform calculations in the app. In the current version, these values are not saved to an account or sent to Tribro servers.
5.4. Device permissions
The current version does not request access to your location, contacts, photos or camera, microphone, health data, or Garmin, Strava or other sports-platform data.
If a future version adds features that need such access, this policy will be updated and the app will request the relevant permissions.
6. Why we process data
Depending on the situation, we may use data to:
- respond to messages and requests;
- manage merchandise enquiries and orders and arrange delivery;
- prepare and send a requested training plan;
- provide requested resources and features and administer the Tribro community;
- produce website usage statistics through Google Analytics only if configured and accepted;
- identify and fix technical errors and protect the website against abuse;
- meet legal obligations or send commercial communications where we have a lawful basis.
7. Legal bases
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on:
- consent — for Google Analytics if configured and other optional features that require consent;
- steps taken at your request — for responding to an enquiry or preparing a requested training plan;
- a contract or pre-contractual steps — for processing orders, arranging delivery and related communications;
- legitimate interests — for security, abuse prevention, technical troubleshooting and service protection, where your rights do not override those interests;
- a legal obligation — where the law requires us to retain, process or disclose information.
8. Who may receive data
Where necessary, data may be accessed by providers that help us operate the website and Tribro services. Depending on the features in use, these may include:
- Formspree — to process forms when they are used; information is sent when you submit the relevant form;
- Google Analytics — only if configured on tribro.cc and only after you accept Analytics;
- website hosting and infrastructure, email, communications, security and technical maintenance providers;
- delivery providers where needed to fulfil an order;
- public authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law.
Formspree may store submissions in the account connected to a form and send notifications to its configured email address. We do not sell users' personal data.
9. International data transfers
Some technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their own terms and transfer arrangements may apply. Where required, international transfers rely on safeguards recognised by applicable law, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. How long data is kept
We keep data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected or to meet legal obligations. In particular:
- general messages and training-plan enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last communication, unless a legal reason requires longer retention;
- pre-orders are kept until resolved and, where needed, for a reasonable period afterwards; order retention applies if a pre-order becomes an order;
- order information is kept for fulfilment and for periods required by tax, accounting or other legal obligations, or to defend legal claims;
- Formspree submissions follow the settings and retention periods for the relevant Formspree account;
- Google Analytics data is not currently collected by tribro.cc; if configured later, retention will depend on that property's settings;
- your Analytics choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days;
- Race Day Checklist data in your browser remains until you reset the list or clear this website's browser data;
- app data stored locally remains until you reset the feature, clear app data or uninstall the app.
Information may be kept longer where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
11. Your data protection rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time and request information about automated decision-making where applicable.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out lawfully before the withdrawal. To exercise your rights, contact tech.tribro@gmail.com . We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or the supervisory authority responsible for your place of residence or work.
13. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or accidental disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
14. Children
The Tribro website and app are not specifically designed for children. The training-plan request form is intended only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly seek children's personal data where parental or legal-guardian involvement is required. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data in such a situation so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
15. Links to external services
The website and app may link to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Strava, WhatsApp or other external services. They operate under their own privacy policies, which Tribro does not control.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes, new features or changes to our technical providers. The latest version and update date will be published on this page.
